Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is an historical attraction of Ha Noi capital. It is the final resting place of Ho Chi Minh – the great president & leader of Viet Nam. Builded in 1973 and inaugurated in 1975, Mausoleum is considered as the symbol of the reunion of Viet Nam.

On August 29, 1975, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum was inaugurated on the historical Ba Dinh. Looking up from Ba Dinh Square, here is the majestic yet modest Mausoleum; the entire mausoleum bears the stylized shape of a lotus, which is divided into three parts: roof, columns and the foundation. Roofs and columns are made of of silver gray granite that can withstand the sun, rain and the harsh climate of the tropics. The structure of the three-tier foundation is clad in black gray marble. The difference between the two tiling stones creates the solid apprearance of the mausoleum. Inside the column is the body of the mausoleum, where Uncle Ho’s body was laid, the whole outerface was covered with dark red marble. The roofs are arranged in three levels, the blade-shape of four corners resemble the roof of ancient temple.

The Mausoleum is constructed with the inscription “PRESIDENT HO CHI MINH” attached on the roof of the mausoleum, made in gem stone of Cao Bang, the main door of the mausoleum is lined with jade stone, the stairs are paved with marble, Both walls and pillars are marbled. Particularly, the main wall of the porcelain is in red marble, being the background for the line “Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom” with Uncle Ho’s signature, gold-plated – This is also the throughout wish, desire and conception of Uncle Ho started at the time he departed from Saigon to find a way to save the country until
